I won't soothe your pain

Rafael stood almost chest deep in the water legs braced as the current swirled around him, urging him forward. To the open space below. He took a few strides before, with a laugh that was snatched away by the wind, he suddenly threw himself over the edge and into the empty air. No, he was not suicidal; he was in it for the thrill. Besides, falling was the most fun he'd had in ages. With a large splash he landed in the pool of water, drenching any remaining dry parts of his pelt. He treaded water for a few moments before strong strokes brought him to the shore, where he broke through a thin layer of ice. He heaved himself back onto land and gave a full body shake, sending water droplets flying everywhere. Even so, the slight wind still sent a chill through him. Maybe jumping into the frigid water hadn't been the best of ideas, but it had been worth it for the brief moment of joy. Being alone really wasn't all it was cracked up to be.

I won't ease your strain

He moved to a patch of weak sunlight and let himself sink to the ground, ready to endure the boredom as he waited for his fur to dry in the sun. Already the need to move on was making him twitch; he very rarely stayed in one area for long these days. Mostly because he usually ended up in company he disliked. Same snide remarks about his size, same superior attitude. He preferred to avoid wolves like these, but it very rarely worked. Unless he moved on right away. Thinking something along these lines, Rafael was about to leap to his feet and take off, when he stopped himself. Perhaps this time would be different. He was going to risk it, at any rate.

i'd like to take this time to detach my jaw,

Holy fuck he did it!

The prickling grin that was so remarkable about his familiar features of a freak to everyone's head creeped upon his jaws, piercing his tensed lips against the rough fur along his cheeks. Really, the brink of suicide for the young male above was what was charming the lad's buzzing mind at the moment. He urged himself toward the monstrous drop, long, and worn down, yet still potentially dangerous, nails sinking and gritting the moist soil in attempt to throw himself further the more forward. The teeth that flashed behind his chapped lips gleamed a bit of a nasty yellow, stained with the debris and collection of built up plaque, blood, and who knows what. His long, saliva dripping tongue flopped out of the side of his lethal jaws, with his ruffled tail jut up straight behind him all the while. Turfs of fur were missing from the obviously battered male's coat of thick charcoal and loose hair, while his limbs simply introduced the very idea of having a gangly appearance.

Despite how peaceful this place, you know, Stray Circle or whatever, was supposed to be, he completely ignored it. Who was it to rule this place in expectancy of who or what roamed within it, and did whatever they pleased? No one, exactly. Suicide didn't have to occur in suicidal falls, plus, he found it much more attracting to splat an egg on a sidewalk where the public eye was clearly in sight. Like, for instance, himself! Before the male had even dropped from the high point where he created his decision, he had picked up on his strong scent, finding nothing of sickness nor injury to him. So, why the hell did he leap? He had nothing to lose and everything to gain, it wasn't like he was a poor specimen of the species he was.

The thoughts eventually eased he himself to a slower, steady gate, slinking swiftly into the undergrowth of bickering trees that curled and twisted from the abyss just beyond the duo. Once he had found the male to be still remaining alive, he recollected his thought process and ideas for a better explanation. As he curved between the brush and twigs littered upon the ground silently, he paused to check upon the other male. He froze in his spot, allowing the fur along his charcoal coat to rise as he noticed the other male's anticipation of leaving. Did he hear me?.. No way, I'm fuckin' quieter than a mouse... He bickered lowly in his head, flattening an ear and rising the other as he shifted into a gate once again.

& really take a look. i think that i'm done.
