History:
There's not much to say about Fathom's past. Her life has been fairly uneventful, in terms of recent occasions. As a youngster, she was raised by a small pack, hidden within the great forests in one of the many mountains that wolves once roamed. This was, however, during the times when survival was hard for wolves, where humans would happilyshoot a wolf if they saw it.
She continued to live and learn with her close family and pack until she was just over a year old. At that point, the small [ack was discovered by a local human group, who persued them. The group was split up, leaving Fathom on her own. It took her a long time to find her way back to the den site in the cold, dark night. When she arrived, soaked from the rain, it was to find no trace of any of the pack. Upon further exploration, the exhausted Fathom was able to come across the bodies of 5 of her pack mates, including her mother, two of her half sisters and an older male that had been the beta. There was no trace of any of the others.
After this disaster in Fathom's life, she set off alone on an adventure that she felt would last a lifetime. Being on her own, and with her small stature, Fathom found it difficult to hunt and eat, and therefore did not grow into a healthy, tall adult, but stayed small and lean. She continued her travels, in search of other wolves, and maybe, just maybe, peace..
Personality: The original, un-eventful life that Fathom once led had caused her to develop a loving, carefree personality as a youngster. She was wild, excitable and loved exploring.
However, after the incident concerning her treasured pack members, Fathom began to suffer from stress, from panic and just from nerves in general. The original confidence that she had once posessed had vanished, leaving instead a sense of paranoia and constant fear. Wary, distrustful and shy, Fathom is more likely to flee from another wolf than to walk up if she is wary. However, a trace of the old Fathom still lurks behind the closed doors of her mind, and this occasionally shines through when she relaxes. one of the easiest signs to tell that Fathom stil owns her own mind is simply by what she does - travels. Fathom was always one for walking and exploring, and this is still obvious.
