General Name | Tallyn | Alias | She doesn't mind being called chief or boss by her subordinates | Sex | Female | Age | 3 years | Breed | Eurasian wolf x Arctic wolf |
Physical Eyecolor: | Bright, glowing amber | Build: | She has a strong build that makes her look slightly lion-like because of the pairing of that and her orange, bushy fur. Her legs are very strong, despite their length not being quite tall for a female Eurasian wolf. The fact she is tall helps in her area of unnatural strength. Her neck is where most of her muscle carries, which connects to her jaws and gives her a nasty bite. She is an average-speed wolf, but as far as her anatomy is concerned she’s an unusually strong female and not as fast of a runner as other wolves. | Fur color | Her fur is a bright orange color with white, black, and lighter tones of orange mixed in; she gets the white in her fur from her arctic wolf side. Her fur color doesn't change much with the seasons, and because she has such a vibrant color coat she is easily spotted and often has trouble blending in with most environments. However, her coat gives her an edge in the city. If she works really hard, she can pass for a tall Akita Inu and survive in the city. | Fur Length: | Her fur generally stays on the shorter side. However, during the winter, it grows out slightly longer and much thicker (she already has thick fur, but in the winter her fur is super thick). | Texture: | Her primary coat feels thick and disheveled. The fur on her legs is for the most part feathery and down feeling, which moves upward and mixes into her main coat as a secondary, lower coat. Her fur sticks up in random places could honestly care less. So mainly her fur is bushy but surprisingly soft to the touch. | Height: | 29.5 inches at the shoulder. Her height is a very useful thing for her, considering her position of dominance. She is a bit smaller than some females, but she has a very strong personality to make up for that. | Length: | 50 inches | Weight: | 90 lbs, which is balanced by her height and muscular body | Overall Look: | Tallyn is actually quite pretty, but she's more intimidating than beautiful. She has a look of cold knowledge in her eyes quite often, but for the most part she is only cold when she wants to make sure all the other wolves of the pack aren't afraid or if she feels her dominance is threatened. Mostly she looks similar to a lion because of her strong body and her unusually orange fur and its bushy, thick quality. |
Mental Other: | Tallyn sometimes suffers from bad strains of depression that are quite bad. When she is fighting one, it is best to leave her alone so she can fight it off by herself. In her worst cases, sometimes she will be delusional from pain and it is definitely a good idea to leave her alone in those cases. | History: | Tallyn’s life wasn’t a charmed one. She was born in a city and, at two weeks of age, was left in a dumpster by her parents, who were being hunted by the police. Tallyn survived the hunt; however, her parents did not. So, for a few hours, tiny, blind Tallyn was silent in a smelly dumpster full of shit, until her stomach began burning with hunger. Around the same time, a group of renegade wolves were scanning the city for any wolves left before the humans were going to completely massacre any canine they found left in the city. One of the wolves heard a small whine, and the three followed him.
If Tallyn had not been wimpering with hunger, she wouldn’t have been found by the renegade wolves. So, they carefully extracted the small, blind puppy from the shit and the group ran for their lives as the searchlights began to fall on the remaining wolves in the city they hadn’t been able to save. The four wolves ran for their lives out of the city and into the hills. After hours of running, Tallyn opened her eyes for the first time. She saw a little hill at the base of a mountain, with a little tunnel hidden behind a large boulder. Each of the wolves crawled through the tiny tunnel, having to squeeze in order to fit in.
And so, Tallyn entered into her home for two years for the first time. It was a base full of rebel wolves waging guerrilla warfare against the humans. There were a huge number of wolves in the base, and there was light only from the holes on the mountain’s steep slope. Her new home was on the inside of a mountain. There were tons of other pups there as well, probably around twenty others. Tallyn was set with the other pups and left there. She was the only female pup there, so as all the pups grew up together, her “brothers” saw her as one of their own and treated her no differently.
Tallyn learned things normal pups probably wouldn’t know about. She learned about pressure points, and how to attack another organism without using her teeth. Her eyes grew weak from the poor lighting in the cave, but her ears grew strong to compensate for that. At four months of age, her mentors began training the pups to fight by having them practice against adults. Pups were encouraged to attack their partners without mercy: they wanted the pups to try to kill the adult wolves. Because they assumed the pups weren’t strong enough to kill one of the adult wolves, the mentor wolves made a mistake asking the pups to kill their fighting partners.
Tallyn was sent into a small dirt ring and set up against a vicious-looking male wolf. In the beginning she had no intention of hurting anyone, but the fight got bad. The large wolf grabbed her foot and threw her into a wall, sending blood tricking out of the corner of her mouth. When Tallyn saw her own blood for the first time, a fury in her body built into an uncontrollable rage. Tallyn gathered speed by running around the ring until a cloud of dirt rose into the air. Her body agilely turned from running in a circle. By then, she had built up so much momentum that when she turned, she tripped and began to spin in circle with her nose on her tail. Just as she was under the big wolf, she unlocked from her little circle and sprang up. Her teeth met his throat. Blood…was everywhere. Tallyn blacked out.
When Tallyn came to, she was in a new pin. The leader of the rebels, Jinx, was watching her with interest. When Jinx noticed she was awake, he offered her a proposition. If she would receive tougher training, she would have a higher position when she was older and she would receive better treatment than the other pups. Tallyn agreed. Looking back on that, she wished she hadn’t.
Throughout the next two years, Tallyn received such intense combat and sensory development training that the only wolf in the rebel pack that could match her was Jinx. She became a weapon, a dangerous machine that if it were to be lost, then she could easily take down the wolves that trained her. She was emotionless; she would do whatever it took to complete a mission. That is, until the day she was called into action.
At the age of Two years and four months, Jinx brought Tallyn into the city to learn how to kill a human. They entered into a large building full of apartments and Jinx led her to a room on the first floor; He seemed to have everything planned out. Tallyn entered into the room and saw a man lying on the couch. She snaked around the couch until she was standing right in front of him, and what she saw shocked her. The man had his daughter and son lying right next to him on the couch. The daughter awoke and stared deep into Tallyn’s eyes with curiosity. At that moment, Tallyn began to walk backwards and knocked something over. The man awoke and yelled something in human. She wasted no time and jumped through the window onto the street.
From there, Tallyn fled the city. She fled the guerrilla lifestyle and left deep into the mountains for 6 months, leaving the city and learning how to get in touch with her own strength and power and learning how to live harmoniously with herself and all the things she’d done.
| Personality: | Tallyn has seen a lot of sights in her life. She can be quite a hard wolf to get along with at times, but she really does mean well. For the most part, she acts friendly to other wolves, but that is only as long as that wolf understands that she is not to be messed around with. If the wolf doesn't understand, she will go to physical measures to make sure that wolf learns. If you have heard of Machiavelli's book The Prince, she leads with the motto of doing anything it takes to keep everything under control, to keep everyone safe. She believes that the outcome is more important than the means of getting there. |
