UPDATE AS OF AUGUST 30TH, 2009. Rules, pretty self-explainatory. Please read through them all, they explain this site, and how it works. We know it is kind of long, but we ask you do only because we have differing rules from other sites, and our site works in different ways than others.

OUT OF CHARACTER..
- No use of offensive language. You are allowed freedom of speech, but we will take action if anything is offending another person.
- Any issues with another player - such as harassment or just an argument - should be reported to the staff immediately. We will deal with the situation, we ask you to not provoke it further, or you could get in trouble as well.
- No inappropriate or offensive material, please. To spell this out: We are a PG13 site. No sexual, offending, or graphic pictures, links, talk, etc etc. If you want to talk to someone about this, go ahead, but keep it off this website.
- No spamming / double posting. However, there is a way to bend this rule if you would like to spazz out. We have a board for that here.
- Write clearly. We ask that you spell check, and not tak lik thz.
- Wait until your wolf is approved before you post.
- Three months of inactivity with both in and out of character without notification, your account will be deleted. We will give you warnings, of course, before hand. ( updated 8.30.09 )
[/li][li] Your character's application will be deleted if it is not completed in one week.[/li][/ul] [/blockquote]

IN CHARACTER..
- This is an intermediate RP. We do not expect giant posting, however. QUALITY OVER QUANTITY. We would prefer a well thought out and written post that is only a paragraph than an scribbled 6-paragraph post with nice coding. As far as we care, we would rather you spend more time on a post, and less time on the coding. Again, though, whatever floats your boat. We do ask that you post at least 100 words, bare minimum.
- Liquid time is available at any time. But, please know what you can manage. We would like you to be able to keep up in your threads, because if you just stop posting suddenly, and everyone is waiting on you, your post will be disregarded.
- Curse as freely as you want in character. If it fits the character, go ahead. Its not like someone will go up to someone who just killed their friend and be like 'you silly wolf! don't do that!'
- Out of character chat during a post to discuss something is fine as long as you make sure there is an indication that you are posting out of character, however no posting out of character threads in the in character areas.
- No role playing a character until they have been approved by an admin, unless you get the "okay" from one in the Cbox.
- You may have an many characters as you can handle. You have 6 weeks to post a character, until they are considered deceased due to starvation or natural causes. We will, of course, send you a private message of warning. All you have to do is message us back, saying that you are lacking muse or just say that there is a personal matter keeping you from staying active, anything. Just give us a heads up, and we will not delete your character. But a pack can move on, and your wolf's rank can be lowered, especially if it is an alpha. If you go inactive with an alpha, then after 2 months, even with excuse, another wolf can claim your pack and take over.
- You can have one account per character, or put them all on the same account, whichever you prefer.
- Any questions, please contact staff. If you are unsure about something, ask first. Further rules may be added later.
- A pack has a percent of food supply; can cannot just go and get food unless your pack actually has food. You can check the food list to see how many wolves it takes to take down each kind of animal. Every major hunt with a pack [normally 2 to 3 wolves] will up the pack's food supply by 30%. Every week it is lowered by another 10%. If an alpha fails to keep his pack fed, mutiny within a pack is assured. If a pack is hungry enough and doesn't have availer hunting resources, then they may turn on each other - normally the Omega's.
- You are totally allowed to post and have any random role play, or plot, in any place in 'open oasis', claimed or not. If it's claimed, I'm only warning you to think about that again once. Anyone can post there, you don't have to claim it, or be apart of the pack, in order to.

WOLVES... - This site does allow strange mutations and deformities rarely. Unless given permission, wolves must stay realistic to their breed, and not be say - 6"5 and be a Timber wolf.
- No power playing unless given permission by the other player or by staff, or unless your wolf is an alpha. This is only because some people want their wolves, say, to be the awesome almighty 'rebel' of the site. See, that's not how things work in real life. You defy your superior, you're punished. However, players of alphas, we ask you do warn the person playing the pack member about what is going to happen before you post, and you cannot say, for example, you ripped their leg off or something like that. And, you cannot kill another person's player, alpha or not, unless given permission. But when your character has been backed into a corner, where it is a run-away-or-die scenario, you sure as hell better run. And, be realistic. The rule that alpha's may attack back can be bent if your wolf is trying to take over a pack.
- In fighting, be realistic about what you're up against. Two against one fights are not against the rule, this is how it is in the wild. Wolves tend to game up against each other, either way. And, even in one-on-one fights, if you're lean and fast, and the opponent is strong and some cage fighter from hell in wolf form.... you're probably not going to win. And, grizzly against a single wolf..? Come on. STAY REALISTIC!
- You cannot murder another person's character without their consent.
- Once two wolves become mates, they are considered a pack, however small it may be. At this point, you need pack lands, otherwise you may not stay together. You may either claim, or fight for some. This rule may change with time.
- Pups may not leave their pack until the age of 2, unless kicked out by the alpha/alphess, or to run away if they start their own pack.
- Wolves may not enter an alphess's den, unless you are a caretaker, and only if it is vital that you do.
- Wolves cannot enter another pack's parkland if they wish to join. They must wait at the border line, and howl to get their attention if not noticed immediately, and wait till they are accepted in. They must also act upon a submissive manner, unless they have a death wish.
- Pay attention to pack updates. If there is no food percentage in your pack's food storage, you better get some. You cannot feed yourself if there is a 0% mark. Every single time you hunt as a pack, you gain a 30% mark if it is large game. This will be further explained here.

ACCOUNT RULES... - No graphics that extend the forum, so we ask you keep a maximum 500x600 pixels, and for signatures, a maximum 500x300 pixel maximum.
- No moving graphics unless given special permission.
- You may have as many accounts as you would like - for having a character per account, as an example - as long as we have an understanding that it's you. Example: using the same name always in the Cbox or indicating that it's you on each account someway. You do not have to do this; you are allowed as many characters as you would like on an account.
- No offensive material on your profile. I know that's stated earlier, but honestly, guys, PG13. As long as proboards is allowing 13+, we're keeping it this way.
- No impersonating or pretending to be two different people using accounts. We will find out. In honesty, I don't think this will be an issue, considering that it'd be pointless to try and pretend to be two people here.
