This clarity and depth make his eyes quite an asset. Build: He has a balanced build, having an equal amount of strength and speed. He may not be anything special with speed and and strength, but in the area of movement, he never loses his footing and he is actually quite lithe and flexible. Fur color: His fur is mostly black, but it has grey and tan mixed in as well. Fur length: Regular, medium length texture: Soft and thick, it provides a nice barrier against cold. Height: 34 inches Length: 60 inches Weight: 130 lbs Overall look: Tuvia is a handsome wolf. He has this chivalrous charm due to him being raised in a courteous pack. However, Tuvia's eyes are his most notable feature because that is the first thing you notice about him when first meeting him. After that, come his large paws. He has quite large paws that are helpful to him when he is running. A funny feature about him is his "eyebrows," which aren't really eyebrows but more of a brow bone the happens to move depending on his current emotion. Other: N/a
History: Tuvia got a lucky head-start in life that not many wolves are able to get. He was born into a very prosperous pack as the whelp of the beta pair. Accordingly, he was fed watched after almost as well as the Alpha's pups. He had only one sister that survived, due to a grizzly bear finding the den and eating all the other pups before the parents had arrived. His parents were despaired in the loss of the other pups, but rejoiced in the safety of him and his sister.
From birth, Tuvia was destined to be the next guardian of the pack. For one thing, he was a very lucky wolf and seemed to always be able to weasel himself out of any sticky situation he got himself into. One instance of this was when he stole food from one of the top fighting males of the pack. He was in the middle of eating it when he was discovered and thrown by the scruff into the wall. Conveniently, his hitting the wall was enough to jar a large rock from its place in the wall and send it sailing down on the other male's head. Tuvia crawled out from where he had been and continued eating the meat quickly before the male woke up.
Tuvia also grew faster than most pups due to the large amount of meat he was given. He became a fat little pup that loved to sleep and whine until his training for guardianship of the pack began. His training was tough, but it was not brutal due to the fact he was still a pup, and pups were integral to the future of the pack. He learned how to defend himself and others, but mostly he learned how to keep his footing in a fight. His mentor told him that as long as he kept his footing, he would not lose. His mentor also taught him how to adapt and move without being noticed. And so, Tuvia learned for two years how to protect others and himself.
However, at two years of age, something unexpected happened in Tuvia's life. He was just beginning to guard the pack when suddenly, humans formed their camp at the edge of their valley. Naturally, as protector of the pack, it was his job to lure the humans away from the pack and he acted accordingly. When he left that morning for the human camp, what he didn't know was that would be the last time he ever saw his beloved pack again. Upon arrival at the human camp, he was dumbfounded. There were tents and fires as far as his eyes could see, and there were humans everywhere. Delectable scents hit his nose like a tidal wave, but behind those scents he found mystery and suspicion of the human mind. He quickly learned that his cunning was no match for that of a humans. And so, Tuvia decided he would learn from the humans by being around them in the shadows.
Tuvia followed the caravan of moving humans silently and gingerly. From observing the humans, he quickly figured out what it was that made humans so seemingly invincible: it was their ability to question. Instead of simply being satisfied with the 'how' of things, they wondered and learned the 'why'. Because they could question the 'why' of things, they were able to learn and use that discovery to aid them in their advances over other creatures. And by studying these strange, two-legged creatures, he began to question the why of things as well. Because of this, the pack lost the best guardian they had ever had.
Food was very hard to get around the humans, for the minute they were done eating it, they would tie it up high in trees or hide it in seemingly unbreakable places. Animals fled away from the humans so hunting was not an option for Tuvia. The only way for him to survive and be able to continue shadowing them was to learn the craftiness of man. And so, Tuvia learned creativity and was able to prosper from stealing the human's food. For a few months he continued on this way until one day, he found himself standing in front of a large city. He had no idea what to make of it, but instead of straining his brain to unravel the mysteries of the humans he simply shrugged it off with another "it's a human thing" sigh.
Tuvia left the caravan of humans for the city, where he was luckily found by a pack of stray dogs and welcomed into their group as a weapon they could use against rival dog packs. From these strays, Tuvia learned cunning and deceit that was necessary for survival in the city. Quickly, the strays found that Tuvia was an excellent thief, and so they appointed him the position of stealing food and other human goods. Tuvia brought them back all the food they wanted, but he knew he had not gone unnoticed. The humans were furious with him for stealing from them, so they tracked him down.
When the humans barged into the little shelter that all the strays shared, they threw him out of the city and back into the wild. Once again, Tuvia is a very lucky wolf. For the next few months of his life, he continued to wander about in the wild, searching for other wolves to cause a bit of mischief with or just have some fun. Personality: Since Tuvia lived a charmed life as a puppy, he is a fun-loving mischief maker who loves to goof off. At the same time, he can be quite serious and severe and even have a malicious streak in him, but for now it is very faint. Because he is still quite young, he is still able to be molded by his environment and is quite pliable. Sometimes he can be moody, but for the most part he is fun.
